How we work
The coalition brings people and movements together around shared climate justice priorities. It does not direct the work of its members.
Instead, it creates infrastructure for collaboration, public influence, learning, and solidarity.
We create accessible spaces where young women and allies can exchange knowledge, debate priorities, build relationships, and plan collective action.
Convenings may include:
We support members to develop shared messages, policy recommendations, statements, submissions, campaigns, and public actions.
Collective advocacy strengthens individual efforts by connecting them to a broader movement.
The coalition creates opportunities for members to share research, community knowledge, tools, methodologies, and lessons.
Knowledge should move in more than one direction. Academic and institutional expertise must be placed in conversation with Indigenous knowledge, lived experience, local practice, and movement analysis.
We connect young women with climate policy spaces at local, national, regional, and global levels.
This may include preparation for consultations, policy briefings, negotiation spaces, public hearings, climate weeks, and United Nations processes.
Narratives influence whose leadership is recognized and which solutions receive attention.
The coalition supports young women to tell their own stories, present their analysis, and challenge narratives that reduce communities to vulnerability.
The coalition works with partners who can help open spaces, share resources, support accessibility, strengthen evidence, and move climate finance closer to young women and communities.
Partnership is not visibility alone. It must contribute to shared goals.
